Conway Greene serviced the legal research needs of the state of Colorado with a variety of clients. For the Secretary of State we created an electronic rules database and XML-based website. Click here for more info. With Bradford Publishing, we programmed and published the official Colorado Revised Statutes on CD-ROM from the state’s SGML database. We produced many original Folio CD-ROMS: The “Green Book” for the Colorado Bar Association, Colorado forms on CD-ROM for Bradford Publishing, Causes of Action for Shephard’s-McGraw Hill and the CD-ROM and online versions of the prestigious Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Institutes.


For many years the state of Illinois’ CD-ROM of its Administrative Code was the only source of the array of administrative rules in Illinois. Conway Greene was the official publisher of this CD-ROM. Using Folio Views, we created a fully searchable Illinois Administrative Code with a complete graphics library.


Conway Greene published the official Indiana Administrative Code under contract with the Indiana Legislative Council. This indispensable research set included tables and a subject index. A Folio CD-ROM accompanied the set for electronic research. Conway Greene assisted the Indiana Legislative Council in the maintenance of their rules database. One element of this was a sophisticated “compare program” that allowed the state to monitor all differences in the various versions of code sections.


Iowa’s law library on CD-ROM was comprised of many types of law that came to Conway Greene in many formats. From this variety, we created a comprehensive Folio CD-ROM that included the statutes, Court Rules, Constitution, Acts, Administrative Code and legislative information. We also programmed an electronic XML-based publishing system for the statutes and the acts.


Conway Greene created and published a completely revised Michigan Administrative Code under contract with the state of Michigan using a customized Arbortext™ publishing system. A handsome ten-volume set was published with a comprehensive subject index and distributed with a Folio CD-ROM. Conway Greene also published under contract with the state the annual official Public and Local Acts of the State of Michigan in print and online for the use of legislators.

Conway Greene created an all new Ohio Administrative Code that went on to become an official approved edition. Published on CD-ROM using Folio Views and on the state of Ohio’s official website, the OAC is an indispensable Ohio legal research tool. The official state website also houses the official Ohio Revised Code.
